Pulmonary research focuses on improving the understanding and treatment of lung conditions such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), pulmonary hypertension and more.

 

Our team conducts clinical studies that help advance lung care while placing patient safety, comfort and choice at the centre of everything we do.​​​​​

Our Team

Our research team is made up of experienced physicians, researchers, and coordinators at the University of Alberta who specialize in lung health.

 

We work together to support patients throughout the research process, from answering questions and explaining study details, to ensuring comfort, safety, and clear communication at every step. Our team includes pulmonologists, research coordinators, respiratory therapists, and administrative staff who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.
